CREATIVE MINDS CARE
A world where Alzheimer's is nothing but a memory
Our mission is to live in a world without neurodegenerative diseases through the promotion of brain health and advancement of research.
Our Story
Creative Minds Care, a 501(c)(3) organization, was created with the simple desire to live in a world without Alzheimer's Disease. We are a collective of creative individuals that are on a mission to raise funds for research and solutions for various causes, tackling multiple issues through the vehicle of one social enterprise. Yet at the heart of it all, is eliminating Alzheimer's disease and other brain diseases like Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's, and reducing the risk of dementia. As the organization is run by passion and a few core members, it keeps overhead expenses at a minimum so that 100% of all donations go towards advancing research and the promotion of brain health.

SISODIA LAB AT
THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO
Creative Minds Care has created a Research Grant in the amount of $25,000 to benefit the Sisodia Lab at the University of Chicago, led by Dr. Sangram S. Sisodia, a leading expert on the molecular and cell biology of Alzheimer’s disease pathology. Dr. Sisodia has been at the forefront of learning how the familial Alzheimer’s disease (FAD) genes, including the amyloid precursor protein and the presenilins, function normally, and contribute to Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis.
The research will explore the role of the gut microbiome in mediating sex-specific phenotypes of Alzheimer's Disease.
